Is it safe to sell diamonds online?

Maybe you have seen the commercials for selling gold and getting checks in the mail. There are now many websites and companies ready to take your orders with most of them begin legitmate with a few that maybe are not so much trustable. 

In the past year this trend is continuining. Now you can sell your silver online, through the phone and mail it out, wait and get another check in the mail. For some people that are needing some money this is something worth considering.

Now selling diamonds online is the new trend and why not. Gold and precious metals have been increasing in value over the past 5 years but diamonds are still the pinnacle for jewelery and value. The diamond business is now starting to accelerate just like gold and some might even consider diamonds a currency on it's own.

So is it safe to sell diamonds online?

Only if you have  a trusted website. It can be difficult to assess a site or company for reliability and trustability. We have tried out a few sites and we have found one where we trust and recommend that you can sell your diamonds here at wpdiamonds.com. For any site you want to do research to find out what other people have to say and they are good. We tried it ourselves and we had one diamond expert assess one of our diamonds and we got a good return for what the diamond was worth. At first we were nervous but we read the reviews and so far only good comments. You can try out other sites but if something isn't broken don't fix it and stick with what works. 

Other items you can sell on the site are loose diamonds, quality polished diamonds as well as engagement rings which some people never want to sell but if your ring is worth over $5000 then you are looking at a car here that might be better off towards investing into the family. 

Funniest banned commercials - Top 5

After spending hours of researching watching youtube videos to find the funniest banned commercials we finally produced our Top 5. Many we had to leave out but remember hours of time research went into this. 

1. Skittles Commercial just not right for television

 

The production of this video looks too well done and not something a bunch of amateurs would put together. A lot of time and money went into making this which means it was probably the indirect results of Skittles paying a viral marketing company to produce something that people would share. Sure enough this video is getting a lot of comments and views. Well done either way.

2. Funny banned condom ad that should be on TV

 

Nothing wrong with this ad so who knows why it was banned on TV. We won't say what the commercial is about since it will give it away but it is fairly obvious. Use condoms!

3. More banned condom ads

 

Condoms are always a popular topic and you can imagine that many commercials get produced and are banned before they get a chance to make it on TV.

4. Bill Clinton voodoo commercial banned

 

This is banned for obvious reasons but it doesn't mean it isn't hillarious!

5. Learn English banned commercial

 

This is banned for obvious reasons. It was a nice attempt to prove a point to learn English but no way this commercial makes it on any tv station especially in Europe.

Whitney Houston dies

Breaking news as Whitney Houston is dead. She had a lot fans around the world and used to be a super star. Unfortunately she died of overdose and all you can say is she definitely picked the wrong guy in Bobby Brown. 

It is a really sad way for her to leave us but at least she will always be remembered for her singing and she leaves behind a lot of beautiful songs. In a short period of time people will forget the sad way in which she left and all her personal problems. Whitney Houston is someone everyone can forgive.

Japan’s Earthquake and Tsunami

In March of 2011 tragedy struck Japan in the form of a series of natural disasters. The earthquake caused so much damage and killed many of Japan’s people. Then a tsunami hit and caused more death and devastation. People all around felt for Japan and did all that they could to help.

Osama Bin Laden Killing

The then al-Qaeda leader was killed in Pakistan on May 2, 2011. Bin Laden led the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade center that killed many people and affected America. Operation Neptune spear was ordered by President Obama. During Operation Neptune Spear, the CIA and Navy SEALs raided Bin Laden compound and buried his body at sea.

The Death of Steve Jobs

The death of Apple chief Steve Jobs was a top news story of the year. The mastermind behind Apples top products such as the iPhone and iPad lost his fight with pancreatic cancer at age 56. He died peacefully and was surrounded by his family before his passing. Many were shocked by his passing but continue to remember him as a brilliant innovator who made a positive impact on the world.

The Debt Ceiling Crisis

The debate causing debt ceiling crisis was a major financial crisis in the United States. The debt ceiling was in crisis but nothing was being done about it. Eventually a deal was reached. The deal raised the debt ceiling and future government spending will be reduced. Some agreed with the decision but future debates about this issue are expected to occur in the future.

New York Legalizes Same Sex Marriage

With the encouragement of Gov. Andrew Cuomo lawmakers decided to pass the law allowing same sex couples to get married. This issue is present in several states and is not going away. When New York took this step, gay individuals all across the world were ecstatic. Although this was a happy moment for some, others such as antigay groups were not happy about the decision.

Gabrielle Gifford Shooting

Gabrielle Gifford’s shooting was the headline for all the news stations as well as the papers. An assailant opened fire outside a grocery store in Arizona. It was an assassination attempt that left the congressional representative in critical condition and killed six innocent bystanders. Thirteen others were wounded.

The Royal Wedding

Everyone was watching when Prince William married his long time love Kate Middleton. The wedding made the headlines for weeks and the broadcasted ceremony was beautiful. Everyone was watching when William and Kate became the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Black Friday Shopping Fights

Although nobody should be laughing when you see people fighting you can't help but do it when you see all the crazy videos of people fighting over Black Friday. What has turned into a somewhat religous day for many shoppers, it certainly isn't liked by everyone as tempers flare and people fight over anything from the last items for sale to being in line. 

We posted a video days ago showing one clip but after we started looking we found so many videos of black friday shopping fights. It was both sickening yet entertaining as I had to put them on my facebook for everyone else to laugh. 

Is an xbox 360 worth fighting over? Hell yeah! Just incredible that people get this rotten.

This next video is crazy that these people just go on pure rampage mode. Who knows how many people get injured every year for this stuff. 

 

 

Osama bin Laden supposedly killed

It seems the world is becoming a sicker more morbid place as we now celebrate the death of people. Sure Osama (not Obama) bin Laden is one of the most wanted terrorists who claimed many lives in the past decade or 2. Well the world news is reporting that he is dead but there does not seem to be any proof of this which is the very unusual part about this. So if there is no conclusive proof or evidence then what on earth is truly happening here?

Why can't the public get to see the gruesome images? It is bad enough we see hideous images on television as it is such as Whitney Houston.

check out Barack Obama's speech about the death of Bin Laden. I wonder how many more news reporters are goign to mix up Osama with Obama.

Benidorm is the best show ever

If you want to watch one of the best comedy shows ever you should watch Benidorm. It is an over the top show that has some elements of British comedy but will probably appeal to Americans as well. The characters on this show appear to be some of the trashiest people you can find in England. Of course each character and family set is all different but it really makes the city of Benidorm seem like an absolute dump.

Who knows why anyone would want to take a vacation here like you should never be able to get eggs, mushrooms, black pudding, baked beans for breakfast in Spain.

So more about the show, it has won many awards and with many series have been made. Some of the charactesr in the show include Mick Garvey, Janice, Madge who is a dried up piece of female leather who looks trashy and chain smokes. Also there is Donald and Jacqueline Steward who are a swinging couple and seem to sleep with anything that moves. Mateo is the sleazy barman who seems like his life's purpose is to sleep with anything that has a pair of tits. There are many more characters and many that come and go but that is the basics of the show.

Best writers festival in Canada

The best writers festival in Canada is the Writers at Woody Point held in Newfoundland every August. What makes this writers festival better than other ones held in Canada, USA and the rest of the world is the laid back atmosphere. This festival started off as just an idea and was unknown in the writer's community but now in it's 7th year it has become one of the most popular.

Many authors that attend this event say this is their favorite because it's fun and it's a low pressure event. They get to present their books, meet new people, enjoy the beautiful Gros Morne National park and sample great seafood. Rumors are that tickets for the event sell out within the first hour of going on sale. Trying to get tickets to this popular writers festival is becoming next to impossible.

Perhaps in the future the events for the Writers at Woody Point will be able to accommodate more people due to the large demand for tickets.

North Korea warns of nuclear threat

North Korea is warning of a nuclear response which is short of saying a nuclear threat. A nuclear attack would certainly start a major war and drag all countries involved under. The threat comes after the United States has said new and tougher sanctions will be put on the rogue nation of North Korea. North Korea says that the war games started by the US and South Korea are provoking N Korea to retaliate. 

These events shouldn't be so shocking or surprising since North Korea was accused of attacking a South Korean warship which killed many people and the North denies it attacked.
