Is the iPad a big failure or should we be a little patient for this product to grow?
I have friends who have been hired by companies that provide support for Apple products and it seems there are some issues with the launch of the over hyped iPad. The idea itself looks cool but I think this product needs 1 or 2 generations before it’s something worth having. Similar to the first launch of the iPhone, which was riddled with software bugs, low battery life and an assortment of problems. A few generations later the iPhones are now a worthy phone and it has changed the mobile device industry in a short period of time.
Maybe the iPad will do the same for computers or for netbooks but there are just too many problems with it right now. Many users have bought the iPad without any estimate of what it will be sent to them. The device only allows for 1 application at a time which is not good if you want to use 2 programs to listen to music and to look at pictures. Perhaps the future generations of the iPad will fix these bugs but I recommend for most Apple fans to be patient and let Apple work out the bugs while the guinea pigs do the product testing for you.
