The recent eruption of the volcano Eyjafjallajökull in Iceland is causing financial damage to everyone. Hardest high are the airlines that are already battling debt problems. It has been published that every day costs all airline companies over 100 million euros. If that isn't enough think about all those people who are stranded either on vacation, work or just traveling. Some hotels might get extra bookings while others are going to be missing their future customers. The train and bus system in europe is being backed up with everyone doing whatever they can do reach their final destination.
If this ash doesn't stop being sent into the atmosphere this may cause serious long term problems in europe and around the world. An event like this could completely wipe out the aviation industry.
