BP supposedly has lost a third of it's value from the recent oil disaster in the gulf of Mexico. If this oil makes it's way to european soil and has any sort of damage to any environments there expect the EU and governments to get involved with more lawsuits flying about.
BP is being projected in the media as an oil company that doesn't care too much about the disaster but cares more about the money they are losing as a result. Stopping the oil spill should be the number 1 priority but it is like these BP executives are waiting for a solution that satisfies their needs in recapturing the oil which is of course their selling product.
It is a sad disaster that will have long term effects but hopefully humans think twice about the oil they use and where it comes from. Perhaps this will be the main catalyst for consumers to start thinking of alternative energy sources and ways to cut down on pollution
