Blatant and ugly antisemitism on an Obama for President site? May not be an "official" Obama site, but it shows what sort of people are backing him. Time for Mr. O to distance himself - - - - yet again....?
Update - I stand corrected:
According to LGF, it IS Obama's official website and there are many more posts up at the site just like it.
Update #2:
The offensive post has been taken down. However, Gateway Pundit grabbed a few screen shots and Israel Matsav has an extensive quote from it.
Update #3:
Winds of Change weighs in on not overreacting.
I'm wondering if allowing unmoderated blogging under your name when you are a candidate for president of the US is a very wise choice.
Being a leader is not just about encouraging free speech, but also ensuring law and order. Doesn't Obama have a responsibility to moderate the things put out under his name to make sure people aren't shouting fire in his crowded theater? If he chooses not to - are those of us who react wrong for reacting? Obviously the person who did the shouting is the one who bears the greatest responsibility for the wrong - but if the theater owner has a way to prevent the panic (in this case, by moderating posts and comments), isn't it his duty to do so?

Armed Liberal is partially correct and is wise in his warning to not read too much into those posts.
Where he errs is the number and tone of those posts from such a wide variety of sources. From the mildly anti-zionist, to the hatefully anti-Semitic, there is such a number of comments and posts by a significant number of people to cause us Jews to worry. What sort of people choose to associate themselves with Obama?
Associations matter, and it's not unimportant to note the kinds of people that find like-mindedness with Obama. These anti-Semitic idjits, plus Hamas, Hizbollah, and any number of anti-Semitic figures in the US, all proclaiming their support for Obama, remind me of the cliche, "Where there's smoke, there's fire."
If the campaign, thus far has shown us anything, it is that Obama avoids taking a stance on any controversial issue, and if he is "tricked" into taking one, his "Change we can believe in" takes over and his words are changed... nuanced... or incrementally denied. We cannot take him on his word, and we are forced to look at his record, which is very thin, and his associations. On that criteria he should never be President.
As Thomas Sowell pointed out, Obama has "spent decades aiding and abetting people who hate America." And I would add that those who wish ill on America seem to support Obama and definitely NOT McCain.

I don't disagree with you. Still thinking about it. My feelings about Obama are a bit muddled and I've been wanting to write a post about it. Will try to put aside time to get my thoughts together.
