Sooner or Later: WW3 (or 4 depending on who's counting)

A big war is coming. Why?  Because we've tried everything and have not been able to rid ourselves of the extremism and terrorism that threaten us.

WW5 if you count the French and Indian War as the first World War, which some historians do. (was actually fought between the French and English on at least four continents. English won, as that's the language I'm typing).

I hope you're wrong, and someone manages to figure out a way to subdue the Islamofascists. Someone far smarter than me.

I hope I'm wrong too.

This war has been a long time coming. The enemies have not formed armies nor gathered the weapons of mass destruction. They hide in civilian populations. They will use the innocent as shields knowing that honorable people will hesitate before firing.

How would we respond to a WMD from Iran, Lybia, Algeria, Venezuela, Nicaraua, China-? Will we retaiate-?

Our media have us hamstrung and unable to muster righteous indignation or any other kind of martial response. Like after 9/11 we will go seeking for reasons that we were attacked. We will apologize and try to stop the onslaught...

There will need to be millions who die before we stop the war. Whose millions and who stops will be decided later... right now, we seek to surrender before we can achieve a victory that will only inflame more passions against us... Our Thought Leaders do not believe in self defense... Thusly we will wander into a large war...

Squash em all, I say. Squash em flat.

I've run out of patience. It's really a good thing I don't have my finger on the trigger of a WMD.
