Patrick Swayze

This news is very sad.  I liked Patrick Swayze in the very silly, yet vast and sweeping epic mini-series, North and South, and I liked his performances in Dirty Dancing and Ghost as well. From what I remember from my days as an oncology nurse, the odds are not good with this diagnosis.

It is sad. I hope it's a National Enquirer error because I, too, have always had a soft spot for Swayze. He's lived a quite dignified life for a movie star, and I've always enjoyed watching him in movies.

On a lighter note, the resemblance between him and Tim Larkin is amusing.

I saw a few episodes of North and South, I think, in Junior High.
