The Florida results were just announced and I am listening to Giuliani speak on CNN.  He is very likeable and inspiring.  It's a shame his campaign went off-track.

The media all talked about Rudy putting all his eggs in the Florida basket... well for months, the ONLY political ads on TV, here in North Florida, were Romney's. Giuliani didn't start running ads until a couple of weeks ago. Meanwhile, since November Romney has been the only politician on the airways.

From this Floridian's point of view, Giuliani's campaign NEVER started... it never had a chance to go off track.

Somewhere along the line today in my reading, I came across someone mentioning that they saw parallels between Giuliani and Fred Thompson, in that neither of them really seemed to want the job.

Rudy needs to spend time with his family - his kids aren't speaking to him. Has to be difficult to concentrate on a presidential campaign under those circumstances, I would think.
