What a Wonderful World
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"
I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Oh yeah

I linked this in a post. I can't wait to see what all my Lefty readers say. I'm fully expecting the "it's just rhetoric" line...

It really pisses me off to think that yet another generation of Jews has to grow up being the targets of irrational hate. I'm teaching a Sunday school class of 9-10 year olds, and THEY recently brought up the subject of antisemitism - such little kids! One of my students said that he was taunted about being Jewish by a couple of other kids in school recently - told he was going to go to hell, or some such thing. He'd spoken to the school counselor about it, and the counselor said he'd speak to the kids involved. My student was so mad and upset, and what could I tell him? What could I do for him? I was glad he at least could come to a place where there were other Jewish kids and vent a bit.
