I heard her interviewed on NPR as while back... Fresh Air I think... Interesting experiment, but she had major prejudices going into it that took away some of its luster.

Yes - the good thing though, was that as a result of her experience, she did come away with a changed perception.
I think she ended up going too much in the opposing direction from where she began. Instead of seeing men as creatures of privilege, she ended up feeling sorry for them.
Male or female, it's not always easy being human. Each gender has privileges and abilities that the other does not, but each also labors under expectations and responsibilities the other does not.
There's just no way to equalize gender - for example, men can't bear children and women are physically weaker - period, end of story. And as far as the realm of cognition and emotion - who knows?
Personally, I think feminism and male chauvinism are flip sides of the same coin. I think both can be very destructive forces.
