Barack Obama: Is He Good For the Jews?

My opinion of Obama? I try (I don't always succeed, but I try) never to give an opinion based solely upon "feelings." At this point in time, that's all I have to go on, and that's my major problem with him. Barack Obama remains a question mark to me.
My "feelings" tell me he would not be as sympathetic to Israel as I would want a US president to be. And as a corollary point, he would therefore probably be more sympathetic to Islamic terrorists than I would want a US president to be, leaving us open to being taken advantage of by those who wish us harm.
Well, there I go doing what I said I try not to do, giving an opinion based upon "feelings." I could be wrong - but...I just don't know. All I can say is that I will be watching to see how things play out as the campaign progresses.

Given his position on the Iraq war; it's hard to see how he would be a muscular President. Having betrayed our friends and allies TWICE (Vietnam & Iraq) we will be hard pressed to find support in the future. Having Cut-AND-Run at the urging of polls, he will find it hard to go against them for the difficult job of supporting our friends with sustained power application.... When a politican bows to the whims of 500-1,000 people who answer telephones on the weekend there is No There-THERE. There is no position that will not be served, no argument not received and advanced, no action taken that will hold past the next election cycle.
Obama is cute, but as so many others have observed/prophesied, he is young enough to be a VP for 8 years then President for 8.... Mrs Clinton isn't. Mrs. Clinton does have all the money, experienced staff, willingness to do anything to succeed that he lacks.
Its gonna be a long 20 months....
