The Syncopated Blog

I remember this tune being played as theme music for afternoon movies on TV way back when. It brings back memories of early childhood for me.

I can't listen to this! I know which one it is without even listening! Personally, I think that this music defines the fifties, such of them as I actually remember...

I've always enjoyed Leroy Anderson, He is mostly know for his "Christmas Festival" and "Sleigh Ride" arrangements, but he is able to use percussion "toys" and make the sounds realistic within the context of his music.
